I discovered that almost all the shadows have some warm color in them. My light is cool, so the shadows are supposed to be warm, but being honest with you I never seem to be able to see it. Today I got very excited when I finally noticed warm in the shadows by the orange slices. Well, it might be reflected light from the orange.

I wondered about symbolism and found out one interesting fact about oranges. These luxury fruits symbolized the wealth of the couple in "The Arnolfini Marriage" by Jan van Eyck. Also known as "Adam's Apples" they represent the forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden and symbolize lust, which was sanctified by marriage.
