If you have been to Lincoln City, OR you probably went on a hike to Cascade Head. It is a very beautiful place. There are two trails that can take you there. One is an easy one and the second is a longer and more difficult way. I took the first one. I had an excuse after all - my painting box. I hope it doesn't count that it weighs only 4 lbs.
After a 1-mile hike I came to wildflower meadows with views of views of craggy islands and the Salmon River estuary.

I really enjoyed painting there.  The only one thing I don't get is why I don't go there more often, it is only 25 min away...
